I recommend booking once you’ve had your 20 week scan so I can get you pencilled in around your due date and reserve a window around when your baby arrives.

In an ideal world it's best to do a newborn photography session in the first 14 days after birth, as this is when your baby is still sleepy and curled up, allowing me to capture those super squishy poses. Once your new arrival makes an appearance we then finalise the date and time of the photoshoot.

I'm always flexible to allow for little ones who have an early or late entrance so if you haven’t booked in advance, please do get in touch as I may still be able to fit you in. 

Due to the special nature of newborn photoshoots, I limit these to one per day. This means I can give my full time and attention to each and every baby that I photograph.  My sessions are never rushed.

To book all I require is a £50 session fee deposit with the balanced payable on the day of your newborn photoshoot.

When you book I will ask you to complete a Discovery Form. This provides me with information that we can discuss in your Pre-Shoot Consultation, which can be arranged at my studio in person or we'll arrange a time to talk over the phone if that suits you better.

We will also explore if there are any sort of poses you may like and colours that will compliment your home or if you have any siblings that you would like to incorporate in your shoot. Your consultation enables me to properly plan for your baby's newborn shoot and I will prepare a selection of props, outfits and accessories to create a timeless look of your little one.

The photoshoot for your newborn will take place in my fully equipped garden studio, at my home in Haywards Heath.  
 
The studio is warm, has comfortable seating for parents to relax in, and is private. My sessions are never rushed and my top priority is a happy, contented baby at all times. 
 
I allow 2-3 hours for the photoshoot to ensure time for feeding and settling of baby, or just mummy cuddles if needed! I’m prepared with nappies and wipes, and always allow time for the inevitable nappy changes.   

Your baby’s safety and comfort are my priority during your photoshoot.  I’m trained in the art of safely posing newborns, and it’s important to me that you are comfortable as I work with your baby. 

I am calm and patient and will make sure you are all at ease during the session. 

And please don’t worry if your baby has an outbreak of milk spots, blemishes, or has scratched themselves.  These can easily be touched up in the post-editing process.
